From fine restaurants to recreation, Denison has something for everyone! Catch a movie at the Cinema Four Theaters. Visit the Historic McHenry House, built in 1885 and maintained by the Crawford County Historical Society, The McHenry House features Crawford County Memorabilia on display, including the Academy Award won by Donna Reed for her performance in "From Here to Eternity".
Visit Yellow Smoke Park and take a walk on the beautiful trails that surround the lake or stop by the Neal Moeller Environmental Education Center promoting environmental education. Or perhaps a stroll down memory lane with a visit to Donna Reed Theatre and Museum would fit the bill. The first exhibits of the museum were revealed to the public in June of 2004, including many of Donna's awards and honors, as well as personal letters from Donna's pen pal of 48 years, Violet Lindsay.
Maybe an evening at the Crawford County Speedway is more your speed? Or perhaps a round of golf at Majestic Hills Golf Course would fit you to a tee. Denison has many fine restaurants as well, taste Chinese, Mexican or choose from traditional American fare to name a few.
